New players are always welcome to come along, although we would be particularly interested in filling the positions shown as vacant. If you would like to join us, then please contact us or come to a rehearsal.

We also have a training band for beginner brass players. All players of any age and any standard are welcome to come and learn how to play a brass instrument and to enjoy playing in the company of others. More information can be found on our training band page!

We perform regularly in the Southampton and New Forest area. See our diary for a list of upcoming engagements. If you would like us to play for your event, then please contact us.

NFBNFB

NFB's best regional result this century!

12 March 2023 After a three year absence due to Covid, we returned to Torquay for the West of England regionals, and were delighted to be awarded 6th place for our performance of Rodney Newton's "A Pilgrim's Progress". This is our highest placing in the banding pyramid since 1996! Thank you Ian and the band for all your hard work on what was a very challenging piece.
