2019 West of England Regional Championships
A good result at the West of England regionals, with 5th place earning us promotion back to the Second Section. In 4 years in the Third Section, we have come 6th, 2nd, 4th and 5th, a consistent run of good results. It was an eary start this year as the section started an hour earlier at 9am, but luckily we did not get the number 1 draw! We were pleased with our performance of Holst's classic 'First Suite in Eb'. This year we welcomed Denise Slotman, John Bartlett and Isabelle Wilson who all played with us at the regionals for the first time. We now start rehearsing repertoire for the summer season.
