2018 West of England Regional Championships
Back in Torquay again for the West of England regionals, after dropping back down to the Third Section, we were pleased to finish 4th. If we had finished one place higher we would have qualified for the finals and been promoted! We enjoyed playing and rehearsing the test piece, Napoleon on the Alps. We also had a great weekend, as ever enjoying the warm welcome from Paul and Mike at the Westgate Hotel, and going for the traditional Chinese and Indian meals. Now we have 2 weeks to rehearse for a concert in Hythe in aid of Wessex Cancer Support, before we start on another busy summer season.
